It's simple, really. Manufacturer provided stair nosing has a strong tendency to work loose and even fall off. Working as flooring installers for many years has taught us this ugly truth about manufacturer stair nosing. Having been called out to try and fix or replace failing stair nosing as many times as we have is what prompted us to develop a better solution. And we have. Properly installed (and it's not rocket science), our stair nosing stays in place. Not only is it unique and beautiful but It's strong and durable and it takes a beating. We use a different process for LVP than we do for laminate or hardwood, but our processes have produced a super strong and easy to install solution for almost any commercially available flooring type. With hundreds of sets delivered and years of experience with them we have found no better hard surface stair solution and we are confident that you will agree.

The Classic vent cover is a good choice for Hardwood and Laminate but not such a great choice for LVP. It's simple style incorporates long opening and it's thickness allows that while maintaing strenght.
